Job Description
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C&E) drivers for a major contract in the East Lancashire area.
Our client is a prestigious, industry leading Transport and Logistics company who are looking to use on-going drivers from now till the Christmas shut down.
Ongoing work with tenure and your own new unit is available for the right driver. We are recruiting five drivers to start the contract in addition to our existing drivers established within the client. Roamer drivers are essential, running Monday to Friday every week.
Weekend work will be available but is not a regular occurrence. Where weekend work is desired we will be able to provide along with other contracts.
Handball is involved where the driver will normally be asked to do 1 to 3 drop offs per day. The pay reflects the work and to ensure a professional attitude and happy drivers.
The pay rates will be £12.50 on days and £13.50 on nights along with a night out allowance.
As the contract is prestigious, you will be asked to attend an interview at our office. Once we are happy that you are suitable for the contract, successful candidates will be invited to sit a driving assessment on site.
