Every day our Market North recruitment team hire the talented people that help our company to make the world a safer and healthier place and we are now looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us at our office in Northwich. Supporting various divisions and functions across our business, the successful Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for delivering a top quality end-to-end recruitment process, attracting and engaging with the best candidates in the market and helping us to build our teams of the future. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in providing high volume recruitment within or to large, complex businesses. You will be capable of business partnering and challenging our hiring community to make the right recruitment choices, advertising wisely and improving the quality of hire and selection capability.

What will you do?

  • Delivering a full in-house recruitment service, focusing on roles across the UK, Ireland and the Nordic countries
  • Manage relationships with hiring managers at all levels to gain clear understanding of role requirements and supporting them in their recruitment activities, whether CV review, interview or offer stage
  • Manage candidate relationships including pre-screening, telephone and face to face interviewing, progress updates and offer process
  • Coordination of the offer and start process, liaising with relevant teams to create a seamless employee introduction to the company.
  • Source candidates using main and niche recruitment channels (database research; job-board searching /networking; and press, social and multimedia advertising)
  • Use of assessment tools and techniques, including competency identification and interviewing, psychometric tools and data and candidate assessment centres to determine candidate suitability and cultural fit
  • Take ownership for tasks, using a proactive approach and initiative to seek out the best solution
  • Challenge others to ensure deadlines are met and quality is delivered
  • Provide local support to regional and global recruitment initiatives regarding best-practice techniques, branding and training

Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and activities
  • Previous experience in recruitment position; either in house or high volume agency.
  • Understanding of legal and legislative compliance in the recruitment cycle
  • Familiarity and proficiency with computer systems and software, including MS Office and applicant tracking software.
  • Previous experience in stakeholder management at all levels
