Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Senior SH&E Specialist to support the SHE market manager in leading projects in select areas, such as service / sales / industrial-specific company auditing programmes, managing an ergonomics program deployment plan, and administering personnel/driver safety programs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support Market Divisional / Functional leaders and sales force to ensure SHE becomes a line management responsibility.
- Assist in monitoring and communicating on SH&E performance for the Market.
- Support and delivery of training on policies, hazard identification and incident investigation.
- Perform technical work in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with the organization’s Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) standards and with country regulatory requirements.
- He / she will support the SHE&E Market Manager in the coordination of the safety, health and environmental (SHE) programs for the Market North (UK & Ireland and Nordic countries) (i.e., such as personnel / vehicle safety, industrial hygiene, environmental safety, compliance) according to the Global and Regional strategy.
- In coordination with the SHE markets managers and local division; he/she develops and adapts policies and procedures to assure awareness of and compliance with SHE requirements across the market organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or a technical / chemical Engineering degree
- NEBOSH Diploma, with experience and/or exposure in field of business.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, training, communication and mentoring skills.
- A strong understanding of market trends and the ability to drive new program development and innovation.
- Previous experience or exposure to project management.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results through others.
- Experience in change management initiative.
- Ability to work in a matrix and multi-cultural environment
- Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office – Powerpoint, Excel, Word
- Nordic language skills is a plus
- Travel around 30% within the Market
